Kelly Kinahan's college education and experience began in Upstate NY over 15 years ago in Residential Interior Design. Moving to Boston in 2000, she transitioned into Healthcare Design and Sales. She continued her education and graduated Cum Laude with a B.S. in Facilities Planning & Management from Wentworth Institute of Technology. Interested in Space Planning and Project Management, Ms. Kinahan began working as a Space & Logistics Coordinator in Research & Academic Affairs at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center where she worked with Principal Investigators on the design and renovation of laboratories. She was recruited from the large institution into a start-up biotechnology company and offered a position as Operations Manager. She successfully relocated labs and offices into over 12,000 square feet, and was the Project Manager for the tenant build-out that was completed on-time and under budget. Two years committed to the company, she has since relocated their facilities to Menlo Park, California. Ms. Kinahan decided to pursue her passion for Construction and Facilities Planning & Management and began her own business - Kinahan Associates. Through networking she has been afforded the opportunities to work with the best and the brightest engineers, contractors, vendors, scientists and consultants throughout New England and New York. She is committed to collaborating with expert partners in order to contribute to the success of her clients. |

"Kelly relocated the company's office and lab operations successfully and saved us thousands of dollars compared to outsourcing these tasks separately. Through her extensive vendor network, she was able to select for us the exact stable of vendors most useful to the company. She delivered on moving over 12,000 square feet of lab and office space with only 48 hours of downtime. The ease of working with a single company, coupled with our cost savings in actual dollars and in time, made working with her one of the best corporate choices we have ever made." -Mehmet Toner, PhD Harvard-MIT Division of Health Sciences & Technology |
